Architecture practice
We build for the light that is already there
Vantage is a small practice working in concrete, glass and daylight. Housing, civic buildings, and the occasional small chapel.

See the workHow we start
Every commission begins with a day on site and nothing to show for it. Where the sun lands in February matters more than what the plan looks like on paper.
Materials
Board-marked concrete, oak, and glass with as little frame as the structure allows. We detail the junctions rather than hide them.
Housing
Our housing work is mostly infill: narrow plots, awkward orientation, neighbours close on both sides. Constraints make the plan.
The practice
We take on a handful of projects a year so the person you meet is the person drawing. Planning, tender and site are all handled in house.
Enquiries
Send the address, the orientation and roughly what you need from it. We reply to everything, including the projects we are not right for.
